Directions: The best way to get to Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge is to fly via Sansa Airlines (www.flysansa.com) or Nature Air (www.natureair.com) to either Puerto Jimenez or Golfito. Flight time is approximately 50 minutes. Charter flights are also a great option to consider, especially for families or groups.
You may also drive your car to Golfito. It is recommended that you park your car in a secured lot, and that you remove anything of value from your car. A secure place to leave your parked car is at the Samoa del Sur
Restaurant. The road between San Jose and Golfito is well maintained; drive time is approximately 5 hours.
Once there, a Nicuesa representative will meet you and transport you by our boat across
the Golfo Dulce to Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge (the boat ride is approximately 35
minutes).
