Hotel Lerdalshöjden was founded in 1927 by Anders lönnberg.
For 40 years the Hagberg family ran and developed the establishment.
In 1988, after the facilities were enlarged, the hotel was run as part of the Scandic hotel chain.
In 1995 the hotel was bought by Green Hotel who owned it until current real estate firm Höjden i Rättvik bought the hotel in 2005.
Since that day the hotel is run by Elisabeth Willner Perez. 
Currently the hotel has 179 beds in 92 rooms and offer everything from conferences to lovely weekends and weddings.
