Umnäs is a small village at the foot of Gardfjället on the shores of Lake Umnässjön. It is 8km from Slussfors and the E12. Those wanting to fish in the lake can purchase a permit locally. Permits to fish in other waters can only be purchased from the shop in Slussfors. Boats are available for hire.
